Thousands come here on a daily basis to watch cricket at the International stadium and to Victoria Golf Club where situated in Digana which is just a 45-min drive away from the City. Kandy has everything from banks to cyber cafes, to excellent libraries and bars and restaurants. Locals can even point you in the direction of meditation centers. The regular bus and train services of this extremely central town will connect you to almost anywhere in the island. You can use either public bus services or Three Wheelers (Tuk Tuk) to move around Kandy.
